About Second Month Amsterdam
Second Month Amsterdam arranges outcall massages for visitors whose time in the city is counted in weeks. It keeps no premises. A therapist comes to wherever the stay has placed you, and the rates on the first night of a posting are the rates on the last.
Most writing about massages in Amsterdam assumes a guest who arrived on Thursday and flies out on Sunday. A good share of the people who actually book here are not that guest. They came for a project, a secondment, a research term or a season of working remotely, and they have a lease, a building pass and a favourite supermarket. A long stay has a shape. There is a first week of boxes and badges, a middle stretch that turns into routine, and a last week of handing things back. The same booking means something different at each point, and the pages here follow that shape rather than the hours of a single night. The techniques page reads each format against it.
What the house actually does is narrow. It arranges the booking, agrees the hour and the length, confirms them in writing, and publishes what everything costs. What takes place during the visit is never the house's decision. The therapist does that, says where her limits are at the start of the visit, and those limits hold until she leaves.
Outcall only, to wherever you are living
There is no studio and no reception desk. Every session happens in a flat, a serviced apartment or a hotel room the guest has taken. Forty to sixty minutes from confirmation to the knock is a fair figure across central Amsterdam, including the Zuidas, the canal ring, the Jordaan, De Pijp and Oud-Zuid. Schiphol and the airport hotels are arranged separately, with the journey time agreed first. An address outside Amsterdam and Schiphol is never arranged.
One set of rates for the whole stay
The figures do not move with the week of the stay, the day of the week or the hour. Booked alone with one therapist, a stay's evenings are priced in exact proportion to their length, from an hour up to three, while the eight hour overnight is a separate fixed block, and each hour beyond the third costs what the first one did. There is no bundle and no discount for booking often, which also means there is no commitment to book again.
Who the therapists are
Twenty-three women work with the house. All are twenty-one or over, and each has a profile on the roster showing her age, languages, starting district and photographs. Each one chooses her own hours and may decline any booking without giving a reason.
What the house will not do
It will not work outside Amsterdam and Schiphol. It will not name a building on a page or print a number to dial. It will not hold a woman for a guest between bookings, and it will not take a booking that someone else present has not agreed to. It keeps no accounts and no files beyond what a booking needs, and the privacy page sets out exactly what that is.
