The overnight, placed within a long stay

An overnight is an eight hour block on one fixed fee for one guest with one therapist, always with half ahead, and on a long stay it is kept for an occasion.

An overnight runs for eight hours, with its start and its finish written into the confirmation. With one therapist and one guest it is a single fixed block rather than a meter left running. When a partner has flown in and shares her, the block is simply doubled. Bring in a second therapist and the night is billed hour by hour instead, at the two-therapist rate, with that bill doubled again when each of the pair has a woman of their own. Every profile on the roster prints the full table.

Not eight hours of massage

An overnight is a block of time rather than a continuous session. It holds a long session near the start, rest, sleep and time that the two of you shape between you. She decides what it includes and tells you her limits at the outset, as on any other booking.

Where it sits on a long stay

Few long-stay guests book overnights as a routine. They tend to be kept for a particular date: a birthday away from home, the end of a hard project, the last week before the keys go back. On a long stay the useful rule is to place it on a night with a free day after it, rather than the night before an early meeting or a flight.

Always half ahead

Every overnight carries a deposit, with no exception for a returning guest. For one guest with one therapist that means half the block travels ahead before she leaves, and the matching half is handed over on the doorstep. Because a whole night has to be free in one diary, it is worth writing several days ahead.
