Peak dates across a season in Amsterdam
A peak date is a day of heavy demand in the city, such as King's Day, Pride or the Amsterdam Dance Event, when every booking carries half the fee ahead.
A few dates each year bring far more visitors and far more demand than usual. The house treats them as peak dates, and on those dates every booking carries a deposit, whoever the guest and however the booking is timed.
Which dates
King's Day in late April. Pride, across late July and early August. The Amsterdam Dance Event each autumn. The last week of December running into the first days of January. And large conference weeks, which come and go through the year. A message to the house will confirm which weeks count.
Why they matter to a long stay
A weekend visitor can avoid a peak date by choosing a different weekend. A guest living in Amsterdam for three or six months will almost certainly cross one, and may cross several. If you want a booking on one of them, plan it early. The roster fills sooner than usual, and a late request is less likely to find the therapist you would ask for.
What does not change
The rates. An hour with one therapist on King's Day costs exactly what the same hour costs on a grey Tuesday in March. There is no holiday rate and no surcharge. What changes is the deposit rule and the availability, nothing else. A guest who booked right through a quiet February finds the same numbers waiting in late April; only the lead time and the deposit differ, and the confirming message spells out both.
